Ohio Glass History Ohio Glass and Aluminum was incorporated November 1, 1990, under the laws of the State of Ohio, through the purchase of Ohio Plate Glass Company, which had operated since 1915.
Operations began from a leased building until our new warehouse and office building was completed in October of 1998. In the new facility, which houses our fabrication operation, we have complete control of projects from engineering to installation.
Ohio Glass is a full-line glazing contractor operating in the central Ohio area. Our specialty is low to mid-rise office buildings, schools, retail, industrial, renovation and replacement work.
Our supplier of architectural metal products is the Kawneer Company. The Kawneer Company has a complete line of aluminum doors, storefront systems, curtainwalls, and windows, in a wide range of finishes. We also have access to all major glass suppliers and fabricators for a complete line of glass products.
Our staff has more than 64 years of combined experience: Glenn Zook @ 34 years, Mike Zook @ 6 years, and Jim Guthrie @ 24 years. Our fabrication and installation personnel have also been with Ohio Glass for periods ranging from 2 to 31 years. This gives us a sound base of dependable people. 'People' are our most important resource.
We also believe in giving back to the community. We support various local programs such as, The Columbus Symphony Orchestra, CATCO, and the Columbus Clippers.
